Abbey graduated from Griffith University in 2020, attaining a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, and a Bachelor of International Tourism and Hotel Management majoring in Tourism Management.

She joined team Agilis in 2021 as their Marketing Coordinator. In 2023, she became the Marketing Manager of Agilis Media, where her role encompasses working on internal communications, content creation tasks including graphic design and copywriting, email marketing, website editing and social media management for the Agilis Business Group – and partners such as the Kaiviti Silktails RLFC.
